New essay at Entropy

What happens when you make a list at the beginning of the pandemic called “How to Self Isolate A-Go-Go” but have an emergency appendectomy, instead? As it turns out, it’s not learning macramé.

Last year during #1000wordsofsummer, I wrote the sprawling first draft of an essay called “The Appendix vs. The Pandemic” while I was recovering from a complicated appendectomy during the early days of the pandemic. During this year’s #1000wordsofsummer, I published it at Entropy Magazine. Full circle!

You can read it, here.
