Searching for Sparrows
Novel-in-progress
When their Mom dies unexpectedly of cancer, two sisters travel to Paris with their inheritance money to find out everything they can about Edith Piaf. Their Mom loved and lived by Piaf. And if they can learn more about her and their family history, they'll have better clues about how their mother lived. Instead they lose their luggage, find a love for Tarte Aux Abricots, meet a lot of interesting characters and learn how to be sisters which, as it turns out, is easier and more fun than they thought. They also get swept up in a revival of the Yé-yé girls and find their voices which work well on their own but even better when they're together. Think The Dud Avocado meets Trixie Belden meets Taschen's Paris.
